Subs Week 5

Dear Sub families,

What an incredible week it was for our sub-seniors here at camp! Week 5 brought so much fun and support in all aspects of camp!

Sunday kicked off the week with an exciting spectacle as our sub-seniors gathered to cheer on the Debs in their highly anticipated play, Tangled, followed by some fun tennis games in the barn and great technique at the waterfront. The day of sisterly support didn’t end there! Later, the sub-seniors shifted their focus to supporting their very own camp sisters in Romrec who were performing in their own play, Percy Jackson, at Greylock. Our sub-seniors were a fantastic audience. It was a truly memorable Sunday, showcasing the strong community spirit and mutual support that defines our camp.

Monday was jam-packed with excitement! Some of our enthusiastic sub-seniors ventured out to a thrilling flag football tournament, showcasing their skills and teamwork. After lunch the camp kicked-off the beloved Lollipop game, sparking friendly competition across camp. The day culminated in a joyous all-camp Birthday Night celebration, filled with laughter, treats, and plenty of cake and truly making it a memorable and fun-filled memory for everyone! The theme was Strawberry Shortcake, hosted by the Senior A’s!

During the week many Subs showcased their equestrian talents at a thrilling horse show, demonstrating grace and skill. Others embraced their spirit at cheer camp, learning new routines and techniques with infectious energy. And for those with a passion for being up at Atkins Field, the soccer intensive camp provided a challenging and rewarding experience, honing their athletic abilities.

The middle of the week brought an electrifying event that had everyone buzzing: the highly anticipated Cliff Broduer! They all got dressed in their jean shorts and flannel shirts - they definitely looked the part! As the week progressed, the excitement continued with our sub-seniors enjoying their second social event with Greylock on Friday evening, fostering friendships and creating lasting memories. When not immersed in these special events, the sub-seniors dedicated their time to various activities, honing their skills and preparing diligently for what promises to be a super busy and exciting weekend ahead!

xoxo,

Abbie
