Gymnastics

Romaca offers a fun-filled, but disciplined, gymnastics program. Our professional instructors provide safe hands-on guidance to gymnasts with a wide range of abilities.

If competition is your thing, you will have the opportunity to try out for our inter-camp tournament team. For those who want to simply show their stuff, we host a Gymnastics Showcase in front of the whole camp at the end of each season.

Many professionals regard our open-air gymnastics pavilion as one of the finest facilities at any camp, school or university. Our Olympic-grade equipment includes two deep foam pits, regulation-size spring floor, dual vault runways, uneven bars, in-ground Tumbl-trak, suspended trampoline, five variable height beams, and more. Seeing is truly believing!

Yoga & Aerobics

Our certified yoga instructors will help you stretch yourself (and your muscles) to find your inner Zen. There is no better place to enjoy a yoga lesson than in our beautiful open-air pavilion, overlooking our scenic waterfront. Once you’ve mastered yoga on dry land you’ll be ready to improve your core skills in the water…paddle board yoga is everyone’s favorite!

Fitness Center

Whether you are playing a varsity sport in school or just want to challenge yourself, keeping fit and healthy at Romaca just makes sense. Our gorgeous Fitness Center allows older campers to have fun working up a “safe sweat” under the direction of certified fitness instructors. On the front porch you will find a full complement of Spinning bikes. Inside, campers build cardiovascular and physical strength using a wide array of Cybex treadmills, elliptical trainers and full-body strength machines. TRX programs, free weights, Plyo-boxes, Physio/Bosu balls, and a stretching area round out the program.
