Hello Debs Families!
The Debs have had an unforgettable week at camp, filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of camp spirit! Grandparents Visiting Day was a true highlight, as the girls proudly shared their camp experiences and created special memories with their loved ones. The energy was electric during Romaca Relay, with the Debs running all over camp, cheering each other on and showing off their teamwork and spirit. The day ended on a high note with a classic campfire—complete with songs, stories, and lots of smiles.
The excitement didn’t stop there! The Debs brought the whole camp to life as they kicked off Deb Carnival, waking everyone up with pots and pans and setting the tone for a wildly successful event. Deb Carnival was a despicably good time! The Debs poured their hearts into planning and preparing every detail, and their hard work truly paid off. With a fun and creative Despicable Me theme, the carnival brought Minion-level joy to the entire camp.
Working in pairs and small groups, the Debs ran a wide variety of exciting game stations—from classic ski ball to colorful face painting, and even a hilarious marriage booth that quickly became one of the most popular attractions of the day. Their creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm made the entire event a huge success, with campers buzzing about it long after the last prize was handed out.
The Debs showed true leadership and spirit, and the Deb Carnival will definitely go down as one of the most memorable days of the summer! But the biggest surprise of the week? Olympics broke out in spectacular fashion! The captains were crowned, teams were formed, and the competition was on.
The first round of Olympic events has already been completed, with the Debs giving it their all in high ropes, gymnastics, tennis, waterfront, and many more activities. The scores are in, and the anticipation is building—everyone is on the edge of their seats to see what the final day of Olympics will bring. The Debs are ready for anything and can’t wait to finish strong!
