Hello Senior A families,
What a week!!! We have had so much going on this week that it has just flown by!
Visiting Day was a HUGE success! It was so great to see and meet you all, the girls definitely had such a great day! We had so much fun looking through all of their hauls and having food parties with their snacks! After you all left we had a huge dance party in the gymnastics pavilion which was a great way for us to round out the day! We finished off by having campfire down at the waterfront, all decked out in our green and white to celebrate the place we love so much! It was a wholesome way to end such a crazy and exciting day!
We were treated to a late wakeup on Monday before a delicious brunch and a regular day schedule, before getting into some more Birthday Night preparations! Tuesday was another regular day of scheduling, however you could feel the buzz of excitement in the air over trip day preparations! The girls got set to packing their bags before we woke up on Wednesday morning and hopped on the bus to Lake George! We enjoyed eating our lunch in front of a beautiful view of the lake, before splitting up into walking groups and hitting the shops for some shopping! The girls had so much fun finding gifts for their camp sisters (and themselves of course)! We made a pit stop for some delicious ice cream before boarding the Minne HaHa boat cruise - this was incredible!! We had fun fantasizing about which houses on the lake we wished we could live in all year round! Then it was time to head to the hotel to check in, relax and refresh before a night full of activities at Fun Spot! We drove go karts, played mini golf and had some epic laser tag battles before heading back to the hotel for some well earned rest!
Thursday was another busy day as we headed to Saratoga Springs for (you guessed it…) more shopping!! After many hours of retail therapy, we were off to a pool, where the girls were able to cool off and hang out with each other in the beautiful weather! Once we were back on the bus, it was time for our gift exchange! The girls all took part in a ‘Senior A’s Saratoga Secret Sister’ gift exchange which was so much fun - they loved buying something special for their person. I’m sure they can’t wait to tell you all about who they had, what they bought, and what they received! Eventually it was time to head back to camp, but not before stopping for some delicious dinner at Koto! The girls were superstars - they made friends with their chefs and even had a go at trying to catch food in their mouths - SO MUCH FUN!
I was so incredibly proud of your girls this week - they represented Romaca beautifully and just had the BEST time!!
That’s all from me for now! We are nearing Birthday Night and are in full party planning mode! Look out for my blog next week to read all about how our special event goes!!
Love and hugs from your girls!
Megan xo
