Subs Week 4

Dear Sub-Senior families,

Wow, has this week flown!

Before I get into all the fun festivities from this week, I want to thank you all for making visiting day 2023 such a special one. I am so glad that everyone was able to be here, that the weather held out, and that you all were able to enjoy a day at camp with your wonderful daughters. The day would not have been the same without all of your kindness and support, so THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

The week started out with a fun all camp activity - Cliff Brodeur! The girls got dressed up in plaid and cowgirls hats and (square) danced the night away! Continuing on, the girls worked hard on planning Subsway this week. Between a meeting to finalize the lunch menu, as well as multiple periods in creative arts, this event is really underway and I have confidence that this is going to be a very successful Subsway!

In keeping with tradition, the subs went to Six Flags on Wednesday for “Trip day!” It was a sunny day filled with lots of rides, games, sweets, and singing on the bus. And because one lip sync battle was not enough, “Trip Day” closed out with a subs-only lip sync battle for evening activity. The girls were broken into groups, created routines, and took the stage in front of the division to show off lots of silliness and their adeptness in this activity.

Week four was for sure a memorable one and I know the rest of camp is only going to fly. I am trying to savor the time and ensure that there is tons of fun, bonding, learning, and growing (and hopefully more sunshine!) in these last few weeks. Tune in next week to hear about all the special events that are about to begin - from Debs Carnival, to Birthday Night, and a second social, there is going to be so much to share…

Xoxo,

Hannah
