Inters Week 2

Hi Inter families!

Another week has flown by!

Our Saturday started off with a show stopping performance by our lovely SUB’s! Who absolutely smashed their High School Musical performance! This only got our girls more excited for their chance to be stars on stage once the Jinters show comes around.

On Sunday we got ourselves ready for lip sync! As bunks the girls came together as a team to choreograph their own dance routines and practice the lyrics to their chosen songs!

Then to carry on the musical theme of the day we finished off our Sunday with campfire, coming together as a camp once again dressed in our divisional colors, and singing our hearts out!

We were so happy to see the sun finally make a larger appearance, so now rec swim is finally underway, one of the best parts of the day for our energetic Inters! Also a highlight of the day for the girls who just love to relax! This is a great part of the day where everyone can cool down with a swim, or relax in the shade with a good book! As a camp I think this is one of the best parts of the day, where everyone is together having a good time down by the waterfront.

4th of July! What a day, starting our day off strong with a rap battle! Everyone dressed up in their rap battle attire along with a lot of red white and blue! Ready to go head to head!

Following the rap battle was paint your counselor down at the waterfront! An event where the girls get to paint their counselors with white blue and red paint. This very quickly went from a peaceful wholesome moment to a paint party/ who can get the least amount of paint on them, resulting in a lot of purple people haha!

Now the sun has been shining more frequently and summer feels like it is truly in full bloom, we made our way through the rest of the week with a counselor swap where the girls can bid on activities with romacan money to win things like an ice cream party, or a Juice and Java delivery!

To finish off our week we played the string game as a division, a game where we sit in a circle and with a big ball of yarn I tied the first bit of yarn to my ankle and then said something I was excited about for the summer ahead, and then I passed the ball of yarn to the next person so they can repeat the same process and so on, until we have made a web of yarn, connecting all of us and once the yarn was cut we were all left with friendship bracelets to remind us of what we are excited for this summer.

We cannot wait for another week full of activities!
