Inters Week 1

Hello Inter Families!

What a week! After an amazing arrival day, we woke up bright and early to the sound of the bugle, ready for the first day of activities. We kicked off all-camp activities on Saturday with Get to Know Your Counselor, where we watched all the departments (and the Group Heads) perform hilarious skits that had our stomachs aching from laughter.

Sunday was a warm and busy day, filled with not one but TWO Rec Swims in our beloved Plunkett Lake. Predator was next, an all-camp activity – similar to tag – and they had a blast running all over camp, from station to station, collecting their different bracelets to show they hadn’t been caught! The Rec Hall was filled with chanting and cheering for a second night in a row, with Get to Know Your Camper! We had so much fun, and the Inters represented their bunks with skits about sleepovers, their night time routines, and even dressed up as their counselors, which had us crying with laughter. Over the course of this week, the Inters have been to activities as a division, which has been a great bonding experience for them. It has been amazing to see their personalities shine through, making new friends throughout camp and seeing their confidence grow more each day!

We started the week with a rainy day activity, a movie in the Rec Hall. We rolled into midweek with beautiful weather, and another fun-filled, all-camp activity called Twin Night!! The girls dressed up with their camp sisters as things that match, such as ‘Cookies and Cream’ or ‘Ketchup and Mustard’! They worked so hard on their outfits and looked AMAZING showing off their handiwork! We’re looking forward to another week FULL of amazing activities and camp events, and I can’t wait to share it with you all!

Love
A.J.
