Super Juniors & Juniors, Week 5

Hello Super Junior & Junior Families!!!

It is hard to believe that yet another week has flown by and that we are now at the end of week 5. These superstars had another fun filled week and this week’s journey included mostly SUNSHINE!!!!! To start off the week the girls celebrated BIRTHDAY NIGHT!!! This is a fun filled evening hosted by the Senior A’s, where they perform a skit based on a secret theme, this year’s theme was Casino. Then everyone in camp is split into groups based on their birthday season. Each season is split up in the dining hall where they ate dinner together and sang the song for that season, and of course enjoyed lots of birthday cake! Following Birthday Night we had a temporary tattoo party where the superstars had the opportunity to put temporary tattoos on themselves but also they got to cover me in the tattoos. They were so proud of their work and the opportunity to cover me in tattoos that the day after they had me walking around camp modeling off all of the tattoos for them all day long. The next day we followed up with the Sunior A’s FASHION SHOW! This was an evening activity where we got all the Super Juniors, Juniors, and Senior A’s together in teams for a fashion show. It was such a cute activity. The Senior A’s had the opportunity to dress up the Super Juniors and Juniors based on the different themes that each “fashion house” decided on doing as a group. To continue the fun we had a Super Juniors and Juniors Lip Sync show where they all performed songs with their friends throughout the two divisions. Everyone did such an amazing job on their songs!

The fun didn’t stop there …we also had a beach themed evening activity where we split up into small groups and did a variety of activities including making lei necklaces, going on to the beach at the waterfront and making sand castles, playing beach themed pictionary, and doing the limbo!!! To keep the beach party going we kept them all up after bedtime to go back down to the waterfront for more beach themed fun during a dance party sneak out.

We also got to watch the Clubhouse 7 girls perform in Thumbelina. Friday we had a backwards day where we ate pasta for breakfast and eggs for dinner and ended the day at the flagpole. We also had our first “fake out” for Olympics, so we know the real thing is coming soon! Finally we had our traditional Romaca Relay which is a much beloved whole camp event. The whole camp was split into green and white teams and everyone participated in part of the relay race which always ends with the Romrec girls and a rope burning contest. We ended the day with a rec swim and cookout. I look forward to another week of fun with your amazing girls!!

Best, Bekah
