Sub-Seniors Week 1

Dear Sub-Senior Families,

I am so excited to be spending the summer with your girls! They have truly been a delight to get to know over this first week, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds for us! They are such amazing young ladies. Once the girls settled in on the first night, we had a cookout and a campfire (with the Subs decked out in green gear) where we had our annual Wish Night where everyone lights a candle around the fire and we all make our wishes for the summer ahead of us. The girls are so happy to be back together after such a long hiatus.

The first week was full of fun, magic, and a little bit of rain (but we didn’t let that stop us from having a great time)! The girls participated in all sorts of activities like Get to Know Your Camper and Counselor, Lip Sync Battle, Campfire, and more! Needless to say, we are keeping these girls busy, busy, busy. The girls are also super excited to be older camp sisters for the first time and have been eagerly visiting their younger camp sisters each night.

The girls have participated in many activities so far ranging from basketball, to creative arts, to PAWs, and gymnastics. I got to watch the girls a bit in their PAWs session and we have some incredibly talented superstars (with perhaps some Broadway roles in their future)! They are awesome singers and dancers and I cannot wait to see them in their PAWs performance in a few weeks! As well as some performers there are a lot of talented artists in our mix (specifically bracelet makers) and I cannot wait to see their “camp wrists” come together with piles of bracelets!

I cannot wait for the next six weeks with these wonderful young ladies!

Have an amazing week,

Jess
