Senior A's Week 1

Dear Senior A Families,

This first week with your girls has been a delight! We have been spending a lot of time reconnecting with friends and making new connections throughout our division. All the girls have been so sweet and caring to their camp sisters and have bonded very well with them from the first night. These young ladies have really impressed me with their kindness and heart when helping the little ones with their adjustment to camp life.

After drop off on Saturday, we had Wish Night at the campfire and all the girls made a special and unique wish for the summer ahead. Sunday morning was picture day and I do believe we have a beautiful and photogenic group of girls. Later on we had a Lip Sync Battle with the entire camp and the Senior As took home the gold with their version of “Cruisin for a Bruisin”. I was so incredibly proud! We ended the beautiful day at the waterfront where we watched Get to Know Your Counselor skits.

On Monday, the girls started their division schedule and then prepared Get to Know Your Camper skits and songs. They took the stage bunk by bunk and performed for the whole camp. Over the next few nights, we did some fun icebreaker and team building activities. We had some great bonding moments and the girls shared some of their amazing goals for the summer. We have been playing games and having dance parties with so many divisions. The Senior As have been wonderful role models and big camp sisters for the younger girls. The girls and I finalized their senior choice schedules the other day and they are so excited to start them next week!

We have an exciting day ahead of us with an all camp game of Predator and fireworks at Berkshire Bob’s to celebrate 4th of July!

The girls have had an amazing start to the summer and I can’t wait to see them continue to grow together this year. Thank you for allowing me to spend this time with your kind and intelligent girls!

Warm Regards, Amanda
