Inters, Week 4

Dear Inter Families,

This past week was another big success! We started the week off with a campfire on the waterfront, which was a unique and fun experience. The girls loved hearing the song that Romrec chose this summer to bring to the campfire.

Visiting Day activities were amazing and the girls had so much fun! We started the morning off with the annual Romrec softball game versus Advisory Staff. We then enjoyed our typical visiting day lunch. The girls enjoyed a smorgasbord of sushi, desserts, sandwiches, pasta and more!

Next, was our annual Treasure Hunt! The girls used teamwork to follow clues around camp in hopes of figuring out a code to unlock our treasure chest. They were broken up into 27 different teams and had to run all over camp. Once the treasure chest was opened, we all were able to partake in the prize…which was Romaca hats for everyone!

For Trip Day, we took a short trip to Topsy’s for ice-cream and ate outside in the warm sunshine! Everyone also enjoyed pizza for dinner - always a favorite!

One of our favorite evening activities this week was Family Feud Inters Edition! Each bunk competed for an extra hour of flashlight time! Bunk 8 won the championships and the other three bunks won 15 extra minutes of flashlight time for good sportsmanship! It was so much fun for everyone.

Next week, we are looking forward to Birthday Night and Deb Carnival! I can’t wait to share more exciting things with you! Have a wonderful week!

Sincerely, Danielle
