Juniors, Week 7

Juniors, Week 7

Hey Junior Families!

WHOA, what a summer it has been! These Juniors has lived their life to the max this summer taking on challenges, facing fears, trying new experiences, and enjoying camp! We ended last week with the finale of Olympics. All the girls were so incredible and talented at each of the different events; and it made me so proud to see the Juniors with such a competitive and fun way about themselves! Everyone played hard, and stayed fair and happy. The final results were: Denmark 2274 points, Switzerland 2149 points, Finland 1998 points, Mexico 1951 points. It was an intense and exciting week for all!

On Sunday, the weather was absolutely perfect for our “Subsway” event put on by the Subs Division. We spent the whole afternoon at the waterfront in our bathing suits. There were inflatable water obstacles, delicious food, a dunk tank, and all of the camp hanging out and enjoying the sunny, hot weather! That evening we watched the Senior B’s perform Secret Show. The theme was Matilda, and the girls all did such an impressive job incorporating the story of Matilda into Romaca. The show was hilarious, and afterwards the Senior B’s performed their end of the summer goodbye songs. The night ended with everyone hugging and enjoying their time together.

On Monday we had our last campfire, and everyone adorned their traditional divisional colors. The energy was lively and energetic, everyone making sure that they were making the most of the final campfire of the season. Everyone singing together one last time made for the best memory. On Tuesday, the counselors performed Counselor Show, the theme was Mama Mia and again the theme was a secret! All the campers enjoyed seeing what the counselors put together, and what the final goodbye songs will sound like.

The last few days here at camp are going to fly by, and everyone is trying their very best to slow it down. Luckily we still have plenty of opportunities to create even more memories. On Wednesday, we went as a whole camp to go to the movies. The Juniors watched Hotel Transylvania 3, and they couldn’t be more excited!! And Wednesday night we had our annual Banquet, everyone was dressed nice and had a great evening together. Thursday will be our end of season slideshow and Wish Night. As we head into our final day, the Juniors will be sure to make this summer the best yet!!

Sincerely,

Fretts :)
