Sub-Seniors, Week 2

Sub-Seniors, Week 2

Hello Sub-Senior Families,

The Subs have had another phenomenal week. The days have been HOT HOT HOT!!!!! We have been enjoying endless days of extended rec swim and refreshments. This week has been jam packed with activities. We had our annual Lip Sync Battle-each bunk battled one another in the division, and then the winning bunk went head to head with the winning bunks from the other divisions. They are all very talented, and they had such a good time GO SUBS!!!!

We also Celebrated Fourth of July, (one of my personal favourites being from the UK). USA is the place to be on the Fourth of July. Especially at camp!! We started with a rap battle where all the girls got creative rapping about their country and how much they love it (THEY WERE AMAZING). All the girls were split up into groups where they had to navigate themselves around camp completing a number of “patriotic” tasks. If they completed the task correctly they would receive a letter for a puzzle. At the end of completing all the tasks- in order to receive where the hidden USA flag was- the group that managed to piece the letters together would find the location of the hidden flag. They were all super competitive but they found it and raised it high and proud. The girls had a blast painting their counselors and Group Heads, and, as tradition would have it, they turned it into a paint WAR!!!! Some of us still have paint in our ears and hair:-) The day was beautiful and the fireworks where such a hit. The friendship, love, and magic here at Romaca is truly something special. I am loving spending this time with your daughters-hard to believe next week is Visiting Day already! We need summer to slow down!

We hope your week has been as fun as ours.
