Romrec, Week 4
Hi RR families,
Another week at Romaca has flown by! It was so amazing getting to see all you on Sunday and the girls had such a great time spending the day relaxing and playing softball. Play practice is underway for their production of Grease! They have not stopped singing the soundtrack since the day they found out that Grease was their show this year. Trip day for us was very different this year. Since we already went on our trip to Cape Cod, Romrec was able to have a lazy morning as the rest of the camp headed out on their trips. We ordered in lunch from Koto Hibachi Steak House, it was amazing… Thanks Jeff! We hung out at the waterfront, soaked in the sun, and had a lovely picnic. We also played a huge prank on the OOBS while they were out of camp. Counselor hunt was also this week! The girls paired up with each other and went around camp trying to find the staff. Of course, for another year, alumni were not found. Cliff Brouder came to camp this week and threw down an epic hoedown. The girls got dressed in their plaid shirts and pigtails and dosey doed around the Rec Hall. As we end the week, the girls will be doing the Romrec Shack and Back in Plunkett Lake as well as putting on their play for Romaca and Greylock. Looking forward to sharing all these details next week.
