Debs, Week 3

Debs, Week 3

Dear Deb Families,

This week at Camp Romaca was filled with adventure and excitement for the Debs! On Friday they went off on their overnight hike at October Mountain, and it was filled with fun, sleeping in tents, campfire, and most importantly to the girls- S’MORES!!

Saturday night the girls saw Beauty and the Beast performed by the Annex girls and the Greylock boys. It was a phenomenal production with a great amount of talent. This week some of the girls were busy with swim meets, soccer tournaments, and a tennis invitational. The girls did a great job at their events! The Debs came up with a theme for Deb carnival and they are SO excited! Their creative juices have been flowing and they have amazing ideas to share!! No doubt it will be an amazing event! We have had some really fun evening activities bonding with other divisions! We went on a scavenger hunt all over camp with Annex, which included a lot of big camp sisters! The girls loved running all over camp to find the next clue and loved being with the older girls! We also played kickball with the Sub-Seniors and everyone participated (including me!) and had fun. We also went to Greylock for the first time this summer to see the Senior A’s production of “Shrek the Musical” performed with the Greylock boys. It was truly amazing and so impressive how they learn their parts in such a short amount of time! There is always excitement in the air when DJ Jeff arrives in style with his crew. The girls are so excited to dance the night away!

The Debs have really grown as a division this week. They are getting to know each other and having so much fun! The girls are beyond excited to see all of you on visiting day. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday. Safe travels to all of you. See you soon!

Best,

Carly
