Clubhouse 7, Week 2
Hello Clubhouse Families!
What a crazy week this has been! We have had beautiful, sunny, hot weather, as you know, so we have been adding in a few more rec swims to keep everyone cool. The girls have really enjoyed this relaxing time at the waterfront. We also had the special event that all the campers had been waiting for LIP SYNC BATTLE! Clubhouse performed amazingly well, making it through to the final round - only to get beaten by the magnificent Debs! They are so cute and always blow my mind with how quickly all of them can work together to create a song and a dance. Next on the agenda for this week was Romaca’s July 4th celebrations. All the girls were so spirited, decked out in RED, WHITE and BLUE, getting the day off to a fantastic start. Then they went back to their bunk to create a patriotic rap to perform in front of all camp which they rocked! Then it was off to play Capture the Flag (Romaca style) to find and raise the flag in order to win the game. The part of the day that they had been looking forward to the most was, of course, Paint Your Counselor. They absolutely slathered their counselors in red, white, and blue paint-and then did the same with one another! The campers listened to all the International counselors’ patriotic songs and headed out of camp for the Fireworks at Berkshire Bobs. It was an amazing show, as always, and the girls loved that time together on the lawn, mesmerized by the display in the sky above. They will be looking forward to their upcoming show with Greylock, and are so excited to perform it for you on Visiting Day. This week, of course, we also have the one and only DJ JEFF!!! It’s going to be a jam packed week ahead and I’m sure the girls will love it.
