Inters, Week One
Hello Inter Families!
The Inters have officially arrived at Romaca! Summer for the Inters has started with huge smiles and so much excitement for what is yet to come. On our first night the girls arrived to campfire in all shades of orange. We had orange hair, orange tutus, orange lipstick, and even orange faces. They all looked amazing and so adorable! The girls made sweet wishes for what they hope this summer will look like, and blew them out with twinkles in their eyes.
From the moment they arrived, they bonded as one, and immediately it was as if they’d known each other for years. It was truly amazing to see them adapt so seamlessly; returning campers lending a hand to new campers, and new campers jumping right into the mix. The Get to Know Your Camper skits were absolutely incredible! The girls got so creative and even brought props to introduce their bunks to the camp! They had all of Romaca cheering “INTERS, INTERS!” They get so much love and attention they seem to be floating from place to place. We also had Twin Night! The girls partnered up or joined a group with their camp sisters and rocked the stage with their skits. It was definitely a show to watch.
Now that our weekly routine has started, the real fun has begun! There have been first timers who reached the top of the rock wall, zip lined from one tree to the other, scored a goal, and are already showing off new hand-made jewelry. These 21 girls have become sisters in such a short amount of time. Inter summer will be one for the books!
I am thrilled to be here this summer with your sweet girls and can’t wait to get to know them even more each day. You should be very proud of them! I know I am.
