Clubhouse 7, Week One

Hello Clubhouse Families,

We have enjoyed a wonderful week thus far, the sun has been shining and the girls have been out and about enjoying the Berkshire air!

The girls have had lots of fun these past few days, especially during Get To Know Your Camper. They wrote a song all together to “formally” introduce themselves to the camp as one BIG LOUD AWESOME group of Pink Ladies in Clubhouse. They sang about silly bunk moments, being a Senior B, the trips they will take, the activities they love, and all the socials they will have. They looked fantastic all decked out in pink sitting on stage singing with each other. It was a magical moment that they have been looking forward to for some time. They are all so excited to finally be a part of the Senior B’s and are taking their new role in stride. They had a spontaneous dance party in the rain with Annex and Romrec the other evening. It’s these little random moments that they will never forget. They have had a blast at activity periods: playing tennis, spinning at the fitness center and making tons of bracelets and other crafts with each other in Creative Arts.

Some of our favourite activities this week have just been the several divisional sessions during each day. We have played some icebreaker “bonding” games all throughout camp. They are anxiously anticipating their socials with Greylock and Winadu, their play auditions, and all the other special events and trips yet to come, yet they want the summer to slow down already as they try to cherish every moment.

It has been amazing that the girls came together this week, really focusing on becoming a cohesive, kind, and compassionate group of friends and sisters. They have grown up so much since I last saw them last summer. I can’t believe what beautiful young ladies they are becoming-inside and out. You all should be very proud. I love spending my summers with your girls, I am so excited for what the rest of the summer will bring for us and I can’t wait for it to unfold!!

Have an awesome week.
