Hi Annex Families! It was so great getting to meet the Grandparents on Sunday. The girls had a very nice and relaxing day with them. We had another busy and fun week at Romaca with Apache Relay on Monday. The girls got decked out in their green and white and pulled together to help Romrec build their fire. Annex had to run in and out of the woods down at the waterfront to pull as much wood and leaves as they could. They worked so hard and really enjoyed the experience. Through their running we saw so many smiles on their faces. I loved getting to cheer them on with the other Annex counselors. To celebrate, we all jumped in the lake after! It was a great unifying moment for the division. I can’t believe we have reached this point of the summer but Olympics has officially broken out and events are underway. Annex has truly stepped into their roles as leaders and have been so organized in writing all of the songs and cheers to teach the rest of their team. I love watching how spirited they are and showing the rest of the camp how great Olympics is.
I am so proud of Annex for becoming the amazing leaders that they are. It is truly a pleasure to watch and I’m looking forward to watching them shine more in the Olympic events and in the special events that are coming in the final week.
