WE SURVIVED!!!!
Hey Romrec Families,
We’ve arrived back safe and sound from the White Mountains!! The girls had an absolute amazing time, it did get shorted to 2 days due to weather but we still managed to get everything done and I think the girls were even more happy that it was only one night they had to stay in the tent. Myself and 2 of their counselors joined them and the hiking staff on the hike. The White Mountains were absolutely stunning and I’m sure you’ll see all the pictures when the girls return home. They’re having a very deserved lazy day today which is partly combined with clean up as the OOBS got the girls back and pranked them big time…. I’ll let them tell that story when their home, I’m not sure I could do it justice!
As for the start of the week the girls performed in 3 shows of Bye Bye Birdie at Greylock last Saturday and Sunday. I have to say they absolutely CRUSHED IT!!!! They were so cute singing “We Love You Conrad!” All the girls did an amazing job, every song and line was perfect… we got to be the proud Mommas for you!
Sunday we had Treasure Hunt and the girls lead their teams around camp hunting for clues that eventually led them down to the waterfront and the treasure was revealed…. A Camp Romaca bucket hat! Who doesn’t love a good bucket hat?
We had Birthday night last night-it was so cute-Beauty and the Beast. Deb Carnival is today-Romrec can’t wait for their pie eating contest! Stay tuned for next week and i will fill you in on these antics!
