Hey Romrec Families,
The girls had so much fun with you all on Sunday but were quickly back into the swing of camp shortly afterwards.
We watched Clubhouse 7 perform High School Musical on sunday night; always a favourite and definitely a good sing along. Of course the girls were dressed up in pink to support their Clubhouse 7. Unfortunately we weren’t able to do Shack ‘n’ Back this week but stay tuned… The shack is coming.
We’ve had a couple of the classic evening activities this week: Counselor Hunt on Monday and Cliff Brodeur on Tuesday… the girls got their square dance on and danced the night away in their flannels.
Wednesday was trip day which I know the girls have been looking forward to for so long… the laziest day at camp! We had a late wake up followed by play practice… and of course clean up!! The girls got the chance to watch the Secret Show movie, squeezing 25 of them into the lodge is always fun. And also the girls got a bit mischievous and pranked the OOBS for when they returned from their trips. The best part of the day by far… we all headed down to the waterfront for a bit of wibit action and some of the counselors went to get the girls FRESHHHHH FRO YO!! SO SO GOOD. Lazy day: Check!
Yesterday we had the sailing regatta which again gave them some time to relax and just restore the energy for the next few weeks… or for the social they had last night!
We have our show tomorrow… which is Bye Bye Birdie with the Greylock boys so I’ll fill you in on that next week and also…. Dun dun duhhhhh… THE HIKE! I’m going on it to so I’ll be able to fill you in on all the deets.
