Clubhouse 7, Week 3

Hello Clubhouse families!

This week was spectacular for the ladies of Clubhouse 7! The week started with a hilarious Lip-Sync Battle, and each room in Clubhouse competed against one another to see who would qualify for the camp-wide lip sync battle extravaganza. Room 2 won the preliminary round with an ode to the Backstreet Boys, decked out in baggy sweatpants, loose fitting sweatshirts and baseball caps. Their performance was a show-stopper, and their Clubhouse compatriots cheered enthusiastically as they took the main stage. It was a fantastic evening, and although Clubhouse did not win, they were a hit!

We also took a trip to see the Pittsfield Suns baseball game this week! The girls loved the adventure off camp, and were more focused on the dip-n-dots ice cream and popcorn than the baseball, but they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A few girls even volunteered for a game on the field between innings, and the whole division had the opportunity to go on the field. The girls walked onto the field with pride, and one even ran to hug one of the players as they passed by. It was truly a sight to see, and gave the counselors a good laugh.

Play rehearsal has started for our much-anticipated Visiting Day Weekend show, and the girls cannot wait for you all to see their rendition of High School Musical! They are constantly singing the songs around the bunk, practicing choreography, and running lines with one another. The Greylock boys are equally as excited, and I anticipate a marvelous show!

All around camp, the word on the street is that the Clubhouse girls are amazing, and with Visiting Day only days away, the girls are buzzing with excitement and cannot wait to give you tons of hugs! They have truly united as one and broken down so many of their friendship barriers; accepting each other beautifully and respectfully.

I look forward to meeting you, and will see you all soon!!!
