Hi Annex Families!
Annex had another jammed packed week full of amazing events. On Sunday, we had our annual lip sync battle. The girls got to show their creativity and come up with a song and dance to perform for the entire camp. Having just performed their show, the girls were excited to get back on stage and show the camp their stuff! The girls chose to perform the song Gangnam Style by Psy and it was quite a performance. Their routine was so clever even though they only had an hour to come up with it. The rest of the camp loved it so much they ended up winning the lip sync battle! I was so proud of them. The girls also had many tournaments going out this week. We had softball, swim meets, and volleyball. Everyone was great and it was so amazing to watch them compete. Their strong bonds helped them work as a team while also having a blast playing. This week, we also paired up with the Inters one night for an evening activity. We did a fashion show/runway, but instead of using clothes, they had to make their designs from trash bags, tape, and string! It was so cute to see the girls strutting down the runway in their crazy designs. It was also great to have the chance to hang out with another division on camp. DJ Jeff took the Rec Hall by storm for another epic night of dancing and singing. The girls had the time of their life. As always, the night was crazy and fun with good music and flashing lights.
I am so proud of the girls for how hard they have been working in their activities and tournaments as well as how much stronger of a division they have become. Annex is so excited to see you all on Sunday and to tell you even more about how amazing the summer has been so far. I cannot wait for you all to arrive!
