Annex, Week 2

Hello Annex Families,

I can’t believe another week has gone by! Annex had a really fun and busy week. The division got to play in a soccer tournament on Monday at Taconic and had a blast getting to be with each other all day. We also had our annual Twin Night with our little campsisters-they were so clever and creative-and adorable, I might add (there were girls dressed as Crocs with Jibbitz and even a Time warp!) On Tuesday, we had our Camp Romaca 4th of July Celebration! We started the day with a sleep in and then had an “America” themed rap battle. Then we headed down to the waterfront for some more games and paint your counselor. After that, we made our way to Berkshire Bob’s for his incredible fireworks show. The girls have also been in play rehearsal all week. Their show is Bring it On and will be performed for the camp on Friday and Saturday. The Greylock Sub-Seniors will also get to be a part of it. Annex is so happy that they get to do this play and are really enjoying getting ready for it. I hear them singing the main songs all around camp-whether arm in arm or rocking out on the spin bikes :-) I can’t wait to see it!

The girls are working so hard together-it can often be challenging to be in Annex-in the shadow of Romrec-as the girls try to find their summer identity as a division. I am so proud of how much energy they have and how they are working so hard to be a positive, patient, respectful division. They love one another so much and their sisterhood is a beautiful sight to see.

Every day I am so amazed at how talented and amazing your daughters are. I am so delighted to spend the rest of the summer with them.

Have a great week,

Sarah
