Sub-Seniors Week One

Hello “SUBS” Families,

The first week of camp has been amazing! The days have been beautiful and there have been so many fun activities going on. Your girls had so much fun creating their skits for “Get to know your camper” on Sunday, and definitely enjoyed the skits created from the staff for “Get to know your counselor”. The campers surely stole the spotlight from the staff! We have been busy with play rehearsals this week for our upcoming weekend performance of “42nd Street”-an oldie but goodie! You would think these girls have been here for weeks already-they are already settled and at ease and busy bees in their daily routines. So many new friendships have already been made, whilst the old ones keep getting stronger. Our girls went to a soccer tournament today and won 2nd place! I was so proud of them and they were so excited! The girls and I really enjoyed doing the high ropes course together the other day (oh my!) and they are really bonding with their counselors during evening activities, free play, and rest hour. They have done everything together from coloring, to getting dressed up in costumes with their big sisters, to wacky relays, to braiding each others hair! I love the energy and fearlessness these girls have! They are so much fun to be around and make everyday brighter here at camp!

I am so thrilled to be here this summer and can’t wait to continue our amazing adventures together!

Have a great week.
