Seniors A's Week One

Hello Senior A Families,

The girls have been having an amazing week so far. Arrival day was great with all the girls running to greet each other. They just couldn’t wait to see their friends again in their summer home. It is so amazing to me how quickly they all settle in-even in newly mixed up bunks-they embrace each other and love seeing their old friends and are always ready to make new friends, too. It is a special gift, truly, to be a 12 year old girl and still be accepting of others and able to be silly and playful, while also being a pre-teen gearing up to be Senior B on camp!

On Sunday we played Predator- which is always such an awesome sight to see-all the campers running about, hiding all over camp with huge excited smiles on their faces. For evening activity, we had Get To Know Your Camper and the Senior A bunks crushed it! They are so talented, it’s crazy! They LOVE being BIG camp sisters for the first time and have taken on their new roles quickly and with such joy and responsibility. At night, they having been kissing their camp sisters goodnight which they have really enjoyed. We have Twin Night coming up and I’m really looking forward to the costumes they have in store for the camp sister parade. It should be adorable to see them as the big sisters, parading with their younger camp sister in their homemade “twin” costumes.

Really looking forward to what the summer has in store for the Senior A’s. Until next time, I wish you all well.
