Hello Inter Families,
The Inters have arrived at Romaca! Summer for the Inters has started with huge smiles and excitement for what is yet to come. On our first night the girls arrived to campfire in all shades of orange. We had orange hair, orange tutus, even orange faces. They all looked amazing and so adorable! From the moment they arrived, we began all sorts of bonding activities, and it instantly felt as if they had known each other for years! It really amazed me how such young girls could settle and adapt so quickly and seamlessly-they are so open and accepting and friendly to one another. Ahhh-to be 8 and 9 years old again :-)The Get to Know Your Camper skits were absolutely incredible! The girls got so creative and even brought props to introduce their bunks! They had all of Romaca cheering “INTERS, INTERS!” They get so much love and attention they seem to be floating from place to place.
As our weekly routine started, the real fun began! There have been first timers who reached the top of the rock wall, zip lined from one tree to the other, went water skiing, and are showing off new hand-made jewelry. These 26 girls have become sisters. Inter summer will be one for the books!
I am thrilled to be here this summer with your sweet girls and can’t wait to get to know them even more each day. You should be very proud of them! I know I am.
