Senior A's Week 5

Senior A’s Week 5

Hello Senior A’s Families,

Let me start by saying how proud I am of the girls as we successfully pulled off an amazing Birthday Night! All week we have been busy preparing for Birthday Night for Thursday night. We held it in the Rec Hall and it was a blast! Our theme was Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and decorations, song, skit, plaque and cake were all incredible! This year we had the opportunity to change up Birthday Night. We started off separating the camp by season and customizing birthday hats to coordinate with our theme. We then performed our skit and song at the Rec Hall and then began a cocktail hour where the girls passed around the food. The entire camp then sang seasonal cheers taught by Romrec. The girls presented their beautiful plaque and cakes to the camp and then we all enjoyed our very scrumptious dessert. We had chocolate fondue with lots of yummy items to dip. We played a fun game of pass the parcel which is a game where you unwrap the different layers of wrapping paper every time the music stops. Our birthday night was completed as the girls said goodnight to all with handing out goodie bags to all the campers.

This week we had a green and white camp fire where the entire camp dressed in our camp colors to bring us all together. Fortunately with all of our Birthday Night preparation, we were able to squeeze in our last social with Camp Greylock. The girls socialized and danced the night away and looked gorgeous as always!

I am so proud of all of the girls accomplishments of working together. It’s not always easy compromising and making decisions that everyone is happy with BUT they all came together as one and DID IT!!!

The girls are looking forward to their weekend to seeing and sharing their grandparents with their friends.

Have a great week!

xoxo
