Senior A's Week 4

Senior A’s Week 4

Hello Senior A Parents,

What a great week at camp, each week flies by quicker than the last! The girls loved seeing all of you and had the most amazing Visiting Day!!! I hope you enjoyed their homemade posters and how their clothing was beautifully folded because they wanted their bunks to be organized to impress all of you!

The Senior A’s are hard at work these days planning for their upcoming event of Birthday Night. We finalized a theme which is our secret and will be announced to the camp next week on Birthday Night (July 28th). The girls are all working on different committees which are allowing their creative juices to flow to make this Birthday Night the best ever!

The girls watched an amazing performance of Footloose, performed by the Clubhouse 7 girls and the Greylock Sophomore boys. Tuesday night the entire camp put on their flannel shirts, bandana’s and braided their hair all to have a fun night of square dancing with Cliff Brodeur. The girls had a blast dancing to some familiar dances and learning a few new ones.

The Senior A’s had an amazing 2 day trip to Lake George and Saratoga. It was their first overnight as a division and they loved every minute of it. Some of the highlights from Lake George were Rollerblading and taking a boat ride on the Minnie-HaHa. We walked around the town and all purchased a shirt to remind us of the special trip. We did some shopping around Lake George and Saratoga, enjoyed lunch, went to the movies and splashed around at the hotel for a late night swim at the indoor pool. On our trip home we went for a tour through the Howe’s Cavern and stopped for dinner at Friendly’s before returning to camp. The two days were full of adventure, laughs and some great stories that I am sure the girls will share with you.

I loved watching the girls mix around with each other and share special moments making memories all together. They are working beautifully as a division and I am so proud of all of them. Thank you all for sharing your girls with me.

Have a great week!!!
