Inters Week 5
Hello Inter Parents!
WOW what a week!
On Saturday, we watched the Debs’ premiere of Tangled, They were amazing to watch and we enjoyed the performance! On Sunday, we enjoyed hot dogs and popcorn at the rededication of Barley Field located above Westfield! We watched the opening game Romrec vs. the staff and then we headed out to an afternoon Treasure Hunt and a super sloppy obstacle course at the waterfront. That evening we were treated to a fine rendition of The Addams Family at Greylock, starring Romrec!
Monday night, Romrec introduced their yearly addition to the list of campfire songs at a Green and White campfire. In between rehearsals for our own show, we also found time to celebrate Birthday Night! Birthday Night is when the entire camp celebrates their birthdays, regardless of the season you were born in. Birthday Night is put on by the Senior A’s and this years there was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! The best part, of course, was the yummy chocolate fondue and the four fantastic seasonally-themed cakes.
Friday we played games, got married, and spent some time in Space Jail at Deb Carnival! The Debs worked hard on putting together a spaced themed carnival for the entire camp! All that rehearsal time sure paid off, we performed our show Aladdin on Friday night! The entire audience joined in singing “A Whole New World”. They worked so hard and looked adorable!
As if all this wasn’t enough, this week we also saw some of our Inters jumping off the Wibit for the very first time! It’s been a huge week of new experiences and fun times, and we can’t wait to see what next week will bring!
