Debs Week 3

Debs Week 3

Hello Debs Parents!

This week at Camp Romaca was filled with adventure and excitement for the Debs!

This Friday, our division got to go out on our hike! We packed up all our gear, and we drove up to October Mountain. When we got there, the girls set up camp, and we hiked a 2 mile loop back to the campsite. The girls had very sharp eyes, and we had a great time searching for geckos and toads along the trail. Back at our campsite, we spent time together, eating, talking, and planning our theme for Debs Carnival! (It’s super secret, so if you learn it, don’t tell!)

Tuesday was another busy day for the Debs, with about half of our girls competing out of camp in Swimming or Soccer tournaments. Both groups did a great job at their events! Back at camp that night, we all reunited to play Debopoly, a Deb version of real life monopoly. The girls were the pieces, moving to different activity spaces and trying to collect as many “Deb Bucks” as possible. It was a fun time for the girls, and they all looked like they were really enjoying themselves.

We have also been a part of some great camp wide activities. We saw the Annex production of “Gentlemen Prefer Blonds” and went to Greylock to see the Senior A’s production of “Little Shop of Horrors”. We traveled around the world at International Day, and the girls visited different stations to learn about different countries. We also went to a campfire lead by Annex, and we are getting ready to dance the night away with DJ Jeff!

The Debs have really grown as a division this week. They are getting to know each other and having fun! We are continuing to plan our Carnival, and we are getting ready for all of you to visit on Visiting Day!

Looking forward to meeting you on Sunday! Have a safe trip!
