Clubhouse 7 Week 3

Clubhouse 7 Week 3

Hello Clubhouse 7 Parents!

We’ve had an exciting third week at camp! We started off the week with International Day, where all the girls were able to travel the world in a single afternoon, visiting Ireland, England, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, and Jamaica! They learned traditional Irish dance, got to slurp noodles, and even eat latkes made by our very own alumni! I was able to help out at the Ireland station and it was so fun to watch them dance and we all loved seeing the Irish counselors share their culture and favorite Irish music with the girls. The girls even learned a few words in Irish! It was a great afternoon and everyone enjoyed the camp wide activities and getting to share it with their older and younger friends. We also had two socials this week with Camp Winadu and Camp Greylock. The ladies looked fabulous and had a lot of fun getting ready together and spending time with the other camps. It’s so sweet seeing them helping each other with makeup and doing each other’s hair! They are really bonding as a division!

We are gearing up for our amazing debut of Footloose! This weekend! The girls are doing a fantastic job with learning the songs and the choreography and are excited for their upcoming rehearsals with Greylock. They are so proud to be performing at this year’s Visiting Day and I could not be more proud of their hard work and positive attitude! I love watching their rehearsals and seeing their enthusiasm! You are going to LOVE the show! In addition, the girls are taking a trip to Greylock to see the Senior A’s show, Little Shop of Horrors, so they’ll be able to be in the audience as well as on stage this week!

In their daily activities, the girls are doing fantastic! I love seeing their enthusiasm as they go through the ropes course. They even helped to show me the best path through the trees! In Creative Arts, the girls are doing fabulously! They are really getting into the activities. This week they are working on Mandala rocks, which look so cool! When they have spare time, they are adding to their friendship bracelet collections and making really neat bracelets with beads and knots! A lot of the girls have also gotten really into their sports and fitness activities. We have a bunch of girls from Clubhouse 7 representing Romaca really well at tournaments both on and off camp!

We have a lot coming up in the next few days! The girls are looking forward to DJ Jeff , Treasure Hunt, and of course, (most importantly) seeing YOU this weekend!

Best wishes for a great week!
