Annex Week 5
Hey Annex Families
Another week has past and it’s been a busy one…
We started our week with treasure hunt last Sunday, the whole camp had to solve clues to go on the next station before ending at the waterfront to collect their prize… although what’s a treasure hunt without a booby trap!!! The girls had to work their way through a super sloppy obstacle course before they could collect their prize, again we had lots of water and of course shaving foam! On completion of the course they received their beautiful white Romaca cosmetics bags!! We all love some Romaca swag!
We had an eventful Wednesday night… we had a kickball tournament for evening activity but just to add some confusion… and excitement… and more confusion… the team colors where: Red, Blue, White and Green! Of course they only thought that meant one thing OLYMPICS!!! Unfortunately that was not the night although the girls anticipation and excitement for Olympics is very much there and they’re waiting for it any day now.
Also that night… WE HAD A SNEAK OUT!!! We blindfolded the girls and lead them around in circles until we eventually revealed what was going to happen, we played capture the flag in the dark… with the flags being glowing bottles and each team having to wear their team color glow sticks around their wrists. A few noise complaints but the smiles on the faces and the responses of how fun it was were so worth it!
This week has just been jam packed and I could go on forever telling you what the girls have been up to but we will save some of that for when their home. But for now.. it’s cleanup time… THE GRANDPARENTS ARE COMING!!
