Annex Week 2
Hello Annex Parents,
Hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July weekend! We are always keeping busy here in Annexland!
We are rocking it in Annex with Spirit and in Clean-Up! We earned both the Spirit Award and Inspection award for the Senior B divisions!!! Since we were so clean this week we decided to throw in a twist for last Saturday night’s evening activity, Super Sloppy Night! The girls needed to complete an obstacle course which involved lots of water, shaving cream and baby oil- things were quite slippery!!!! On Sunday we enjoyed a matinee performance of “Into The Woods” put on by the Sub-Senior division! Following the show we participated in an all camp special event “Miss Romaca”- an event in which we dress up our OOB to participate in a beauty/talent pageant! Once again… OUR OOB WON!!! We celebrated America’s Birthday in style on Monday! We walked up to flagpole only to see King George (Daniel “Hamilton” style) attempting to raise the British Flag! Our patriotic spirit came through as we proudly raised the American Flag! We continued our jammed packed holiday with an all camp game of Gold Rush, The American Challenge, Paint Your Counselor, and a stunning display of “Berkshire Bob’s” annual fireworks!! We have been all week busy rehearsing for our show “Gentleman Prefer Blondes” with Camp Greylock! Our curtain will rise on Friday evening- they have been working hard on perfecting their lines and we can’t wait to see our bright stars shine again!
